Jessica Bartlett is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Jessica has spent more than 10 years providing education and hands-on care in pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding for the Women, Infants, and Children’s programs of Utah, Ivy Lane Pediatrics, University of Utah Hospital, Nightingale College, and Family Birth and Wellness. She has also provided private lactation services for breastfeeding families for over 12 years. Jessica was privileged to volunteer as a board member for the Utah Breastfeeding Coalition for 8 years, holding positions of worksite lactation liaison, marketing and promotions chair, president-elect, and president.
Jessica finished her education as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in the Nurse-Midwifery program at the University of Utah in 2013 and is now working as an Instructor in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Weber State University and a Certified Nurse Midwife for Arrivals Birth Services in Ogden, Utah.
Jessica is most proud of her role as a mother to 5 children. She has given birth in several settings including hospital, birth center and home. She believes that birth works and is dedicated to the idea that laboring woman should always be at the center of care and decision making during the birthing process.
