Our Team

Chris Miller, CPM

Owner/Founder

Chris Miller has been helping Utah mothers experience the serenity of home birth for 40 years. She moved to Utah from California in 1980 after having the privilege of training with many different skilled professionals. These professionals include several physicians who had home birth practices. Chris also trained and eventually shared an office with some of the first Nurse Midwives to have a home birth practice in Southern California.

Marie Chase, Midwife Assistant, HBCE, CH

I received my HypnoBirthing certification in 2002 after the birth of my last and 10th child. I was introduced to HypnoBirthing for this birth and was so impressed with the difference the simple, but powerful techniques made, that I registered for the next practitioner training and attended with my four month old baby girl. I have enjoyed sharing this information with parents ever since.

Jessica Bartlett, DNP, CNM, RN, IBCLC

Jessica has spent the last 10 years providing education and hands-on care in pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding for the Women, Infants, and Children’s programs of Utah, Ivy Lane Pediatrics, University of Utah Hospital, Nightingale College, and Family Birth and Wellness.

Kamryn Crompton, Office Manager

As Chris’ granddaughter, I have been blessed to be a part of the family that she has built here at Arrivals, and being delivered at home by the hands of my own grandmother has made me an advocate for home birth. I want nothing more than to help support those who make home birth a reality. Running the day to day office functions takes that stress off our amazing team of caregivers and allows them to work the magic that they do! I handle any questions on scheduling, payments, and navigating your online patient portal, as well as any general questions about the practice you might have. Outside of managing our office, I enjoy gardening, cooking, camping, and spending time with my dogs.
